Frequently asked questions

What is TaxOrch?

TaxOrch is an AI tax assistant. It answers tax questions with sources, reads documents, calculates estimates, tracks deadlines and prepares common tax tasks for individuals, freelancers, small businesses, accountants and enterprises.

Does TaxOrch file my tax return?

No. TaxOrch does not file returns or execute payments. It produces draft packages marked as not filed, and you file through the tax authority, authorised software or an adviser.

Is TaxOrch a replacement for a tax adviser?

No. TaxOrch provides decision support, not professional tax advice. For notices, audits and complex structures, talk to a qualified adviser.

Does TaxOrch post entries to my books automatically?

No. No journal entry posts without a person approving it. Bookkeeping uses exact decimal double entry.

How much does TaxOrch cost?

TaxOrch is offered as a White-label licence, priced on the number of clients and users. Demo accounts are available on request.

Which plan should I choose?

Accounting firms, advisers and fintechs take a White-label licence and offer TaxOrch to their own clients. Anyone can ask for a demo account first.

Which countries does TaxOrch cover?

TaxOrch holds source-backed tax data from official publishers for 128 countries, with exact calculators for 42 countries and parameter packs for 42. Coverage depth differs by country and is published at /coverage.

What happens when TaxOrch does not know the answer for my country?

It says so. It asks you a question or escalates instead of guessing, and names what it could not confirm.

Where do TaxOrch's numbers come from?

Every figure is calculated exactly from official rates for the tax year you choose, and shows where it came from.

How do I know a legal statement is correct?

Every legal claim cites a specific section of an official document, so you can read the source yourself.

Can an old answer be checked later?

Yes. Every answer and action is written to an audit log with recorded versions, so an answer can be replayed as it was given.

Is my tax data used to train AI models?

No. Tenant data is never used to improve the product without your explicit opt-in. See /trust/data-privacy.

Can TaxOrch run on our own infrastructure?

Yes, for enterprise deployments. Otherwise TaxOrch is hosted.
Next step

Decision support, not tax advice. A professional reviews before anything is filed.
